The role

The National Sales Manager – Parts & Accessories position, focuses on overseeing the performance of the field-based sales team whilst engaging with the dealer network. Working with the divisional leader to develop and execute sales plans that deliver results, you will:

  • Analyse business and market data to create dealer strategies that increase Genuine Parts & Accessories sales results
  • Monitor staff and dealer network performance to ensure set sales objectives are achieved within a given timeframe
  • Maintain strong business relationships with Key Dealer groups to ensure new business opportunities are managed effectively
  • Identify gaps within the Field Sales Team and take corrective action to ensure training needs are met
  • Work with the Divisional Manager to set internal sales incentives
  • Work with the Divisional Manager to ser dealer network incentives
  • Identify and secure new retail and wholesale sales channels
  • Work collaboratively with the broader business divisions to develop and implement sales initiatives that align with the company’s mid-long term objectives.

The requirements

  • To be considered for the position, you must have:
  • A strong understanding of Genuine Parts & Accessories
  • Proven sales leadership experience with experience managing a team
  • Ability to make sound commercial decisions by analysing business and market data.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A passion and understanding of motorcycle and marine products is a definite advantage
